Kitchens With Kiss - French, That Is! Spring Home & Garden Show At The Woodlands To Feature French Country Kitchen By Osborne Cabinets
HOUSTON – January 10, 2005 -
The landscapes that awakened the creativity of Monet and Van Gogh are the inspiration for the French Country Kitchen by Osborne Cabinets and Millwork, Inc. Osborne's unabashedly sensual French Country Kitchen will be featured at the upcoming Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands, February 19-20 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Osborne's creation is so evocative of luxury and native charm that the word 'kitchen' hardly seems adequate. Kitchens have evolved from the days when they were little more than utilitarian facilities for cooking or eating a quick meal. Homes are larger now and have become extravagant centers for entertaining equipped with the latest in appliances and electronics.
Osborne Cabinets and Millwork, Inc. has been creating distinctive custom kitchens for over 20 years. Known for their superior attention to detail and unique design features, they are perhaps unequaled when it comes to plain jaw-dropping splendor. Imagine a refrigerator unit hidden in a massively carved cherry armoire or a 17th century French bombé apothecary chest elegantly carved to support a limestone or copper sink. Osborne has artisans who actually carve these marvels while master cabinetmakers put the pieces together as they would a piece of fine custom-made furniture.
Osborne's French Country Kitchen will feature custom cabinets crafted from hardwood cherry finished in a medium glazed stain. A closer look will reveal a few secrets about Osborne's trademark cabinet construction, including raised panel doors, dovetail drawers and concealed hardware. The double islands on display will be crafted from walnut and cherry. The design plan includes Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers, a Wolfe range and warming drawer, Franke stainless steel sinks, Justyna and Franke satin-nickel faucets, armoire hinges and Top Knob pewter pulls. Other design features include bombé-style sink casings, hand-carved accents, plate racks, tray and cutlery dividers, pot rollouts, a bread drawer and a gourmet pantry. A rich frosting of Brazilian granite, fashioned by ICM Marble & Granite, will top the counters to complete a perfectly matched and stunning display.
This fully furnished kitchen reflects the French Country style down to the last classical detail. See it and over 200 other exhibits featuring the latest products and services in the homebuilding and remodeling industry at the Spring Home and Garden Show at The Woodlands.
