HOUSTON, June 28, 2007 - Master Li Juen Fong creator of Beijing Martial Art Team and one of the major contributors in promoting Chinese martial arts to the world will hold a press conference at the offices of the Southern News Group, 11122 Bellaire Blvd. On Friday, June 29 at 3:00 pm. Master Li will discuss the importance of martial arts training and explain the goals of the Hsuan-Wu Institute.

Since 1974, Master Li had been appointed as the chief head coach to train the Chinese national martial art team members. In 1987, Master Li led the China Martial Team to participate in the first international martial art competition held in Japan. His team won 13 gold medals and 3 silver medals for the 16 contests they competed in. Master Li has won more than 100 gold medals throughout his head coach post with the Beijing Martial Art Team. He has been honored by the Chinese government athlete committee as the most distinguished head coach . He has won countless medals and certificates throughout his career.

Master Li also has been the teacher of famous martial arts movie star, Jet Li. Jet Li entered the Beijing Xa-Hai Athlete School in 1971 and participated in the first martial arts movie from ChinaˇXˇ§Flower Bundles.ˇ¨ It was Master Li who has guided jet movie in his movie career and assisted him in being recognized as the king of the international martial arts world.
