HOUSTON, November 14, 2005 - Sara Nguyen, a real estate professional with Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors' Fort Bend office, has received the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation from the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.

The ABR designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. Real estate practitioners can only receive the designation after completing specified educational requirements and meeting practical experience criteria set forth by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council.

"The core values of the designation show my clients I'm going the distance to get the extra education that will keep me well informed on buyers' needs," said Nguyen.

After graduating cum laude from the University of Houston with a BBA in finance and management, Nguyen worked as director of investment operations for a firm that specialized in the design and administration of 401(k) pension plans before deciding on a career in real estate in 2004. The decision to change careers proved very rewarding for Nguyen.

She is the secretary for the Sugar Land Community Council for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and is an advocate for women in crisis pregnancies. Nguyen lives in the Houston area with her husband and two-year-old daughter.
