Houston, TX, December 23, 2008 -
Kroger and CITGO Petroleum Corporation to host Passport to A Cure: Cruise the Mediterranean on January 23, 2009 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. The event benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Guests will be enjoying the sights, sounds and flavors of a Mediterranean cruise, with stops in Italy, France, Greece, Monte Carlo and Spain. There will be tastes from the region, gambling and expensive cars, regional wines and street performs just like you would see in the foreign locals.
Usually, MDA has two big events a year but due to Hurricane Ike they have combined the two events into one. This year the event is on track to raise more than $500,000 dollars for MDA research and for the ability to send children to summer camp.
This year, MDA will be awarding CITGO with an award as well a few more to supporters of MDA. Sponsorships and tables are still available to this grandiose event.
