GALVESTON, TX, January 13, 2007 - The parade will feature 60 fire trucks from various departments and organizations in Galveston County. The Galveston County Firefighter’s Association represents 18 fire departments within Galveston County.

Mike Wisko, the President of the Firefighter’s Association is pleased to be part of such a longstanding tradition. “We hope that the parade is a hit and becomes a regular part of this event for years to come. It’s exciting to be part of such a great tradition. The fire service is rich with tradition as well, and our members love to show off our equipment. We take great pride in serving those we protect.”

The Fire Truck Parade takes place along the Seawall and is a great parade for people of all ages. The parade will stage at 14th and Seawall. From there the parade will head west on Seawall all the way to 61st Street.
