All Aboard! Bells & Whistles Cafe Opens Next To Minute Maid Park Get on track with great American food in Downtown Houston!

HOUSTON – January 30, 2008 - Bells & Whistles Café has rolled into downtown Houston at 1501 Texas Avenue next to Minute Maid Park with tasty, affordably priced American cuisine. The café is open from 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and closed on Saturday and Sunday (with exception to important Downtown events.)

"Diners appreciate that they can come in, enjoy a good lunch and be back at their offices without wasting a lot of time,” said Rome Hickey, manager.

Hickey offers a menu of American favorites made fresh daily at the café. The tempting menu ranges from pan-fried pork chops to blackened tilapia; ribeye steak to fried catfish; and a tempting array of made-from-scratch desserts, including chocolate and coconut meringue pies, lemon-lime pie, cheesecake, cobbler and more. And the mouth-watering Bells & Whistles hamburgers and ribeye steak sandwiches are proving to be favorites.

Bells & Whistles Café has two large dining areas plus an audio-visual dining room that seats 44 - perfect for small meetings and presentations. A collection of historic locomotive bells will be on display soon for diners to view from The Platform Room's glass wall facing Texas Avenue. Bells & Whistles offers free Wi-Fi accessibility. All major credit cards are accepted. For information about Bells & Whistles or to schedule meetings and special events, call 713-224-1501.
