D'Vine Wine - Hurricane Ike - Gulf Coast Reserve
KEMAH, TX. - September 29, 2008
On September 13, 2008 the Texas coastal town of Kemah was rocked by Hurricane Ike. We had prepared our winery for the 130 mph winds and rising water that was predicted. Our preparations paid off as we only sustained minor damage at the winery. All of our wine that was fermenting and aging was spared the wrath of this storm. Not so for many of our friends and neighbors who suffered great loss. We have designated all of the wine that was fermenting and aging in our winery during Hurricane Ike as "Gulf Coast Vintage Reserve".
We believe our customers will truly enjoy this special vintage as part of the proceeds from each bottle sold will go to the American Red Cross.
D'Vine Wine Kemah is a fully operating winery located at 609 Bradford St. in Kemah, Texas just a few blocks from the Kemah Boardwalk. We produce over 30 varieties of award winning wine.
