Health Tip: Can Ovarian Cancer Be Prevented?

As an insurance executive one of my biggest goals is to keep people healthy. That's great for the client, my companies, and for the economy in general. With that, I'm continuously looking for quality information that you can use in order to stay healthy.

Like heart disease, there are known risk factors for the development of ovarian cancer. Some of these can be reduced, but others are due to factors beyond anyone's control. There are also protective factors which, if followed, may help to prevent ovarian cancer. This week, we'll consider the risk and protective factors associated with the development of ovarian cancer. Later we'll look at screening tests for the early detection of ovarian cancer.
