As an insurance executive one of my biggest goals is to keep people healthy. That's great for the client, my companies, and for the economy in general. With that, I'm continuously looking for quality information that you can use in order to stay healthy.

Large epidemiologic studies, the type that follow populations of people over time, have provided us with valuable information that has shaped our health policy and personal habits. The Framingham Study, an example of this type of study, has provided us with a wealth of information regarding heart disease. A more recent epidemiologic study, The Harvard Nurses Health Study, has expanded the knowledge of women’s health issues profoundly. Donna Shalala, Former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, considers this to be one of the most significant studies ever conducted on the health of women.
