HOUSTON BUSINESS REVIEW
New Time, New Personalities, New TV Show for Houston Business Media
By HBR Staff
The Houston Business Media Group is proud to announce that the new time for the Houston Business Show, effective next week, will be Monday through Friday at 11 AM on CNN 650. Host Kevin Price said “I’m excited about this time because it does a better job of reaching our target audience, is easier to accommodate our experts’ schedule, and allows us to access the all important ‘Lunch Time Drive Time.’”
The Houston Business Show will be using its original name because of the reach of its website and its credibility in the business and media community. “The Houston Business Show is the name we used to become the longest running program on CNN 650. I’m delighted to return to this name,” Price said. The Title Sponsor of the program is the Bank of Houston, which now has locations throughout the city.
New Personalities
In addition, Kevin announced the addition of several new personalities to the program. “We will continue the idea of five editions to one great program and the list of shows will be announced shortly. The following are some of the frequent participants you will find in addition to our current group of business and lifestyle experts (find the lists at the recently improved HoustonBusinessShow.com home page):
- Calvin Brown, President of Credit Restore. Having recently left BizRadio 1320 to join the Houston Business Media Group team, Calvin will be on our programs’ weekly telling our audience how to leverage credit through strategies and not merely avoid “bad credit.”
- Craig Koopersmith, President of Skyline Displays of Houston. Craig is a leading marketer and will bring his expertise to the Houston Business Show, Houston Business Review, new TV show and other media.
- Kent Batman, Principal of Hardin Fuels, a local leader in alternative energy. The high cost of petroleum has become one of the hot topics in business today. Kent Batman and his team will be poised to answer the questions.
- Tommy Walker of RPM Auto is a new lifestyle Advisor who will discuss how individuals can get the most of their car and how to protect themselves in their repairs.
New TV Show
For several months the Houston Business Media Group has been working in cooperation with HoustonManufacturers.com and Phonoscope in the production of a TV show on business issues. That program, the Houston Manufacturer’s TV Show, has been averaging over 40,000 viewers a month. We are now moving to a local network with announcements pending shortly. In a future newsletter we will have a rendition of our set that is in development.
There are many more announcements in the works and the best way to be kept informed of such is by visiting the “What’s New” Page or by getting a free subscription to the Houston Business Review.
